Introduction
This policy explains how The Retail Podcast collects, uses and protects information when you visit our website, listen to episodes, sign up to our newsletter, or submit a partnership enquiry.
We keep the data we hold to a minimum, never sell personal information, and only share it with the service providers needed to run the site and respond to you.
What we collect
- Anonymous page counts: we record a cookieless, aggregated count of every page view so we can understand reach without identifying individuals.
- Analytics cookies (with consent): if you choose to allow analytics, Google Analytics places cookies to help us see which episodes and campaigns bring people to the site.
- Newsletter sign-ups: when you join Five Things Friday we collect your email address and, optionally, your name, so we can send the newsletter.
- Partner enquiries: when you use the form on /for-partners we collect your name, work email, company, role, website, the partnership option you are interested in, your indicative budget, any event you are planning around, and your message. We also record the page path and any marketing attribution tags present in the URL.
